The National Emergency Management Committee (NCEM) has affirmed that it is monitoring the repercussions of the fuel tanker grounding near Al Qibliya, one of the Hallaniyat Islands.
NCEM has been partially activated through its Hazardous Materials, Essential Services, and Media and Public Awareness sectors to follow developments and the efforts undertaken by the relevant authorities.
NCEM subcommittees in the Al Wusta and South Sharqiyah governorates have also been activated to directly address any future developments related to this incident.
